Fees

Our policy is that the best chiropractic care should be available to everyone, regardless of  insurance coverage or income.  For this reason, our office has made the cost of care very affordable.  With our patient payment plan, virtually anyone who wants to receive the benefits of improved health through chiropractic, can now afford to do so.  The cost of care varies according to the needs of each patient.  Before your care begins, we will schedule you for a free, no obligation, consultation with Dr. Ellwood to discuss your health concerns.  As a result of this consultation we will be better able to give you a personalized care plan and tell you what the cost of care will be, as well as payment options that fit you. 

Auto Accidents or Work Related Injuries

Chiropractic care from any injury from an auto accident or work related injury (BWC) is covered by insurance. In these cases, this office may choose to bill your insurance company, or the company who insured the person at fault. In which case, you will have no out of pocket expenses.  

Insurance

Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company.  Insurance coverage for chiropractic varies and your company may or may not cover chiropractic services, may have limitations on the number of paid visits, and may have a deductible or exclusions.  

Payment for professional services are due in full at the time of service, unless other arrangements have been made in advance.  

We are not a contracted provider with any insurance company.  This empowers us to focus on you the patient and to make recommendations based upon your best interests, not the best interests of the insurance company.  Our office is not affiliated with any HMO or PPO.  

Often, insurance will pay for in part, or in some cases, all professional services for non-contracted providers such as ourselves.  As a courtesy, our office will file the insurance for you with your insurance company.  The patient will then be reimbursed directly from the insurance company.

To determine whether you have coverage, you can contact your insurance company directly and ask if you have chiropractic benefits for an “out of network” provider, or call our office and we will be happy to inquire for you.
