HOW ATLAS ORTHOGONAL CHIROPRACTIC WORKS

This state of the art procedure is a highly skilled and specialized field of chiropractic. It is accomplished by a protocol, which utilizes equipment and instruments to correct the alignment of the atlas vertebrae. When the atlas misalignment is corrected, typically the rest of the spine regains its normal structure and function. "The result is a clear and unobstructed path for the spinal nerves, spinal cord and vertebral arteries, thereby permitting natural function, mobility, and health." Dr. Roy W. Sweat, developer of the Atlas Orthogonal program.

The Atlas Orthogonal Instrument

The atlas orthogonal precision instrument was designed to deliver a precise chiropractic adjustment based on the specific misalignment findings from your x-rays, Technically, the instrument delivers a mechanical impulse through a metal stylus by the mean of a pressure controlled actuator.

The percussion head & stylus

The strength of the impulse is determined by the degree of a compression applied to the device controlling the actuator back pressure. This impulse is transmitted to a stylus exiting a compressional wave in the stylus material.

The instrument delivers a small percussive pulse of energy directed at specific vectors to treat the spine. Due to the precise and specific nature of the atlas orthogonal protocol, an amazing small amount of force is all that is necessary to restore the proper positioning of the vertebrate
